| My friend just told me I would not need to do the (US FBI) criminal background check if i am re-signing with my same school later on this year in July (2011). He said he spoke to immigration, should i believe him? |

Yes, but only for this year. You must tell them that you've already ordered the documents. |

| I just re-signed with my school and got my visa extended through Feb 2012 last week. All they did was bring in my passport, my ARC, and the forms I had signed. I haven't had a med check since 2009 and I haven't done a criminal check since 2008. |
