No, seriously, has anyone ever done this? You'd need some yeast as well, unless you are truly talented and patient about making wild sourdough.

It is really easy to make bread. But of corse you need an over. You can get a small table top oven for about 60,000 with temp. controlls.
Yeast is easy to find here, and you really can grind grains i the blender, its not hard, They also have black rice and carrot flour, they are great.
I know some people would rather eat ramyan then make bread, but it really is not hard, and the taste is sure worth it.
And for the person who asked, skim milk can ge gotten in e-mart. |

Click on the fifth link from the left. That will show you what they have available. Click on the picture for the name in English along with a list of ingredients, in English. Fax them any orders as the person answering the phone doesn't speak English. Free delivery for any delivery totalling over 40,000 won. Otherwise, it's $3.50.
Haven't used them yet, but planning to place an order tomorrow.

i would like to second the country life bread--it rocks. and their cereals are yummy too.
i worked at a school; we would make a group order, and they delivered the box to the office. i once ate grilled cheese sandwiches for a week! |

Bumping to say that I would no longer recommend this supplier. A friend and I had been ordering from them on a regular basis earlier this year, but last time we ordered, they messed up our order (substituted plain loaf bread for hamburger buns -- like we WANTED umpteen loaves of bread), plus my part of the order began molding the day after delivery even though it supposedly didn't expire for several more days. Fast forward to this week: We placed ANOTHER sizeable order and they again changed it without notifying us. Again, I've got four loaves of bread instead of two loaves and two packs of buns. Not that it matters a whole lot, as the entire lot was moldy this time and is going to have to be thrown out, never mind that the expiration date is July 14. Oh, and the company says it's not their fault that we got nearly 40,000 won worth of bread that is unusable.  |

| Places are cropping up all over in Seoul these days. Paris Baguette is pretty good for a chain and seems to be getting better all the time. Lots of places in and around Itaewon. |
