I just picked up an ice cream maker at Costco yesterday and I want to try making some green tea ice cream. I know that green tea is nokcha, but what is the powder called?
I know at E-Mart they have several kinds of green tea bags, but I'm not sure about the powder. I want to make sure I get the right stuff, rather than guessing and ending up with just the leaves. Any particularly good brands to watch for?

Thanks

Emart has it's own brand and the matcha is pretty easy to spot. It will either be sold in a shaker or a bag. It's usually on a top or upper shelf and will even have a picture of the powdered tea on it. Can't miss it, bro.

I get the Homeplus store brand. It's in a green plastic canister, a little taller than a (US-sized) can of soda.
