no need to burrow in the corner. I'll just step up to the plate and hit the fastball down the middle of the plate very very very far straightaway to center field |

I don't know this other person. I don't see how or why I would be grouped with them. :/
I don't make assumptions about the male teachers here and I see no reason why anyone needs to make assumptions (and rude remarks) about the female teachers. Seriously, we have this sexist trend every few months on the board. It's very unbecoming.
I will say, I dislike your baseball analogy because: http://s3.amazonaws.com/kym-assets/entries/icons/original/000/005/545/OpoQQ.jpg?1302279173 |

| Why do you post on Dave's? |
Because so far I prefer it to the others.
Expats seemed to be too much controlled by a core group.
There were also a couple other sites that got hacked or chut down real quick. They were also totally unmoderated (which is not always what you need).
Wayguk.com I probably won't bother with. Take too long to get to know all the new characters on there. |

| It was a great way to pass time deskwarming. It's a good way to vent about chaotic life in Korea with other people who can relate. |

I like the fact that it's an extremely diverse group of people who post here.
Different ages, backgrounds, nationalities, races, and definitely personalities make it interesting.
I also like to imagine what the posters look like (I know I need a life)
For example I imagine PatrickGHBusan is about 6ft 2in, thin with short sandy brown hair; and I see marsavalanch as also tall and thin, but with black short wavy hair.
Why? No idea.
Yes as I wait to hear about my Visa, I have way too much time on my hands |

So everyone who posts here are losers who couldn't make it back home? Interesting. |
also included with daves logic: anyone with a k girl automatically never got any back home. ROFL |
that's called Western female bitterness. Very prevalent and super potent outside of the West (and often inside it). Ask any non teacher professional single male expat in places like Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Moscow, Rio, Mexico City, etc about it. Pick a foreign city. ANY city, and they'll clue you in.
the post overall would be very amusing and I'd guffaw with agreement if it weren't for the clear indicator that it's just some bitter unwanted probably overweight Western female talking:

who around here has any significant money to "shower their Korean girl" with?
put away the ice cream, get in the gym, lose the bitterness and attitude, and who knows? your "joy" may turn into something more colorful than gray.
 |
hahah. I said I've yet to see a hot western girl in Korea, and got flamed by hordes of people and was told there are loads of hot western women here.
Really? Where are they? Is there some magical district in Seoul where these dimes hang out at?
Hell no. Most foreign women in Korea are fat as hell.
Went out with my girlfriend this weekend. Hourlong subway trip, saw 3 fatties, and 1 girl who was thin that had the face of that witch from the animated version of snow white and the 7 dwarves. still wondering where these blonde hotties hang out at. ROFL |
Jane teacher, from Korea.. responds to your scurrilous accusations
