I would like to work for a public school in Gyeongi-do. I received word from a recruiter I'm not eligible. I don't have a BA in teaching or related nor a 100 hour tesol. I thought I was eligible since I have two years teaching experience at a hagwon. Am I wrong ? or is the recruiter confused?

A TESOL certificate is now part of the requirements. Fortunately for you, GEPIK will accept online certificates, which you could easily complete by the end of the month. I imagine that if you can show that you're doing the course (and later, have finished it), and will have the certificate by the time the contract starts, you will still be eligible. A number of schools, though, might opt to go with someone who already has the certificate.
