According to this ad, http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/korea/index.cgi?read=48845, it just opened in August so there probably won't be much to find out about it. If they've offered you a contract, try talking to a current teacher.
I used to live in that neighborhood, and I liked it. It's not exactly a central location, but as long as you're close to the subway station it's convenient enough. 45-50 minutes from Shinchon or Seoul Station by express bus, or a little over an hour by subway. 15-20 minutes south on the subway is the nightlife zone of Bupyeong. It has big box marts and nightlife for your modcons, and a nice mountain park for fresh air and exercise. If the job situation is decent, you could do a lot worse in terms of location. Good luck. |

Just in case anyone looks this up again(yes I know it's 8 yr old post)
Avoid this place. Unless you are EXTREMELY vigilant on recording EVERYTHING(audio and picture) and are well versed on Korean Labor Laws, they will try to screw you over. They are VERY sneaky and manipulative about things like overtime pay, paychecks, work hours, and housing arrangements. Check everything you sign. Record any meetings and take pictures. |
