What gadget/electronic device do you really wish you could have right at this moment, but don't for some reason (no money, not available in Korea, etc.)? |

A tablet or Kindle would be nice. Can't justify spending the money, though. |

Nothing.
My Galaxy S phone, Galaxy Tab, laptop and desktop cover every gadget need I have........
.....the Tab I didn't buy and could probably be taken off my list. I don't think there's a genuine use for it between smartphone and laptop.....not in my life anyway.
I suppose I'd like a really powerful pair of binoculars to compliment my Meade 114mm telescope....... |

I'm waiting for the Galaxy Note to come out. It was just announced a few days ago. 5.3 inch smartphone, 1.4 GHz dual-core, 1280x800 resolution. Seems like a good balance between small tablet/large smartphone, but not too large so it can't fit in your pants pocket. |

I want a disintegrator so I can commit heinous crimes and dispose of the evidence.
Although now that I think about it, even that sounds like a bunch of effort to go through the trouble of planning, committing, and then disintegrating. I'd change my choice to an air conditioner, but it's getting cooler now. |

I'm seriously considering an Acer Iconia A500, but I think I'd rather get the 7-inch A100. The A500 is currently available in Korea, and the A100 is not. That and with crazy Korean import laws, the A100 is likely to cost nearly as much as the A500 and I may as well buy the 10-incher anyway. That and the new version of Android (ice cream sandwich, who comes up with these names?) is coming out sometime in "October or November". So who knows?!?! Gah! I hate the tech world!
Does anyone have any idea when the A100 might get released in Korea? |

I just need my trusty Toshiba laptop and my 3G pay as you go phone.
Who needs gadgets. Big wastes of time and money. It's all marketing hype.
Give me the times when life was much simpler. |

I find myself craving a bigger screen for most of the things I use my iPhone for. A tablet solves that problem nicely. Then my phone can actually be a phone again.
Incidentally, I found an Acer A500 for 399'000 won, (it retails for $386 in the US) surprisingly reasonable for non-Korean tech in Korea. My online research mostly reassures me that it'll be capable of running Ice Cream Sandwich when it releases. I'm sold. |

Good find......that tablet gets excellent reviews. I like how it has decent speakers. Something the iPad and Galaxy Tab both lack because they're both stupidly obsessed with thinness and weight. |

Yep. People bash it for being the heaviest tablet out there. Considering I'm 6'5" with hands and bulk to match, I'm not entirely concerned about an extra half a pound. |
