I like Kalbi-gin and Chop-chae-bap! Laughing Wink Razz

Also, which food can you not stand?

I haven't tried it, but the smell of the silk worm larvae (or whatever the heck that is) boiling in cauldrons on the street makes me gag! I can always smell it before I see it! Blech!!! Confused

I love kimchi. I don't know why.

When I first went home, I found it strange that I was suffering from "non-Kimchi diet syndrome".

Thankfully in Taiwan it is available (imported from Korea as well as domestically made), but it's just not the same without the fresh open air and the flies landing on it....

#3. San-Chae-Jung-sik : and other temple foods.

#4. Huae-Naeng-Myun : spicy, sour, sweet...

#5. Gob-Chan-Gu-Y or Gob-Chan-Jun-gol : Cow intestine on BBQ or in casserole. Soju's best friend. Cool

1. Jung-guk jung. The super bean paste soup with the great smell.

2. Dul-saut-bap! I always enjoy eating this. (Not to be confused with dul-saut bi-bim-bap.)

3. Tie. Sum-gae tang and sol-lung tang. Both are not spicy and very health.

4. Kimchi Che-gae. Always good.

5. Aul-tang. The fish egg shop. Very good.

I guess I chose these food because I feel good after eating them.

PS. to the guy who said he can't find bi bim man doo --- that's weird. pretty much every kim bap fast food joint has it...

Foods I like the most:

-Dakkalbi
-Dulsut bibimbap
-kimchi chigae
-kalbi
-bulgogi
-kamgatang (i'm picky about this one. There are only a few restaurants I've been to that make it really well)

Foods I like the least:

-The seaweed/birthday soup (forget the korean name)
-dwaiganchigae
-nang myeon in general. Cold noodles aren't my cup of tea

Geez..

I love Chicken but I can't believe so many people like dak kalbi.. I can't stand it. Mostly because I hate having to spit out bones.

I like...

andong chim dak.. same deal with the bones but I put up with it for the taste.

dwaeji kalbi..

bulkalbi..

mushroom bulgogi..

shabu shabu...

chap che bap

Dislike pretty much anything you can get at a kimbap place.. but I think that has more to do with quality in my area than anything else. I like cham chi kimbap except for one ingredient (the fake crab I think) that makes me gag every time I eat it. Obviously I like meat. Very Happy

You can order it without the bones.. costs a little more but it is worth it.

Hmmmmm....

No one has said Bo Shin Tang. While not my favorite, it would be in my top five.
