When my grandfather was a kid he had to stay at home for a long time, longer than he ever had. He didn't know why, but really enjoyed having such an extended vacation from school. He lived in a small village, so there were about a dozen children in the one-room school. When he returned to school, it was half empty. There were only half a dozen of his schoolmates.

The flu kills between 500 000 and 5 million people per year, that's why the vaccine is important.
As for the vaccine itself...0.02-0.18% of people have narcolepsy. 1 out of 55000 cases is less than the normal incidence of the disease. |
