If you applied directly, you should be getting placed soon.

If you went through a recruiter, you need to wait another month

xihtug, I did apply through a recruiter and I have been already confirmed for Seoul... So I don't think applying direct vs applying through a recuiter would affect the wait time for confirmation. My guess it probably just depends where your application is sitting within the mountain of other applications.

Well from looking around the net it seems that I'll be fine sending in my documents in the middle of December as this year the deadline has been pushed back. That is actually pretty evident just by judging from this thread compared to last year's thread.

Got my transcript from my university today, but it was unsealed. So hopefully I can get the bus down there and just ask them to put it in an envelope and seal it so I don't have to wait even longer.

I'll keep people updated how it goes so anyone sending documents around the same time as I am will be able to compare. Feeling very anxious!

I just got news back from the interview and I passed...

So now I just have to wait for my FBI check to come back in before mailing out the documents.

I was wondering, is it possible to get all the documents in by the deadline and still not be placed in a job?

Congratulations delta! From the information I've gathered in my journey here, there isn't really a set deadline. They accept documents until all positions are filled. So, the short answer is yes: you can send in your documents, only to find out all the positions have been filled.

Moe: One of my friends went through Footprints, so I did the same. I've heard mixed reviews, but I'm glad to say they worked for me! Although I could have gone direct, I'm grateful to have used a recruiter... It was my first time applying and having their guides was very helpful.

I got my POA yesterday and the link to start the online course today... when do ye think we'll find out when we can book our flights?

I wouldnt book your flight until you recieve your visa. Also, i got placed in seoul, woo hoo!
