I have been looking forward to going back to Korea since I got back from my first tour of duty. However I had plans to bring back a close friend so that we could work at the same school together and I can show him the ropes.

He is currently in the middle of a year long course at uni but had planned on not finishing the second half of the course till a later date. Then coming back to Korea.

However I found out today he wants to finish his course then come over to Korea with me. So this is another 4 months I have to wait around for him.

Yes yes I know, I shouldnt be waiting for him but it would be really cool to have this friend over in Korea. Last time I was over there, I had nothing but girls that were my closest friends and it got old fast.

But another thing thats wearing on my mind was that I left a perfect girl back in Korea and I dont know if I can wait another 4 months till I see her again. But I also kinda hooked it up again here with an old flame which has been nice as well.

Like being back isnt all that bad, but the thing that makes me wanna get my ass over there ASAP is the perfect girl. But even that isnt a guaranteed thing.

Why don't you find a school that is looking for a teacher now and for one 4 months down the road. If you find a school like that just tell them you have someone in mind for them.

Come back, even if you cannot find a position at the same school for your friend, the possibility of finding one close by would be very good, depending on where you are. Why sit around for another four months?

4 months is a long time. I wouldn't waste that long waiting for a friend. They might even change their mind, you never know. I wouldn't come back just for a girl though.
