There are bad surgeons in the UK too. Go to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Is it really bad? I had a scope when I was 16 on my right knee and again on my left knee at 20. The university hospitals are usually pretty good. But if it's not an emergency then do some research and find out what's best for you. I would imagine the major cities (Seoul, Daegu, Busan) will have the better doctors.
