I order my supplements from www.iherb.com. Their prices cannot be beaten and they are now offering a flat rate of 4$ for shipping orders of over 60$ to South Korea.
Use the discount code KOL914 to get 10$ off your first order of 40$ or more and an extra 5% off on orders of 60$ or more. The discount code is always good. |

Can someone explain why there is a relatively small limit to how much can be ordered?
Also, why are foreigners asked for their id numbers?
Is it an iherb thing or a Korea thing? |

The limit is because of k-customs. Anything over $150, and they'll charge tax/tarriff on it. iHerb and other sites set a limit to avoid that.
I too have been using iHerb and enjoying it. The prices are alright, but you can almost always get a deal on the shipping.. sometimes no charge.
And it's fast - usually 4 working days for me.
I put in an order to bodybuilding.com over a week ago... and it says it still sitting somewhere in the US. |

Exactly. And I think some items, like vitamins, are limited to only 6 per order, or at least it used to be (my guess is that it was to make sure retailers didn't undercut the manufacturers and distributors who keep the price of vitamins at inflationary high prices here). But, at just 4$ per shipping to Korea, it's really not that big of a deal to place more than one order if you need more. 4$ is just a little more for shipping than if you ordered off Gmarket (2500-3500won per order). |

Careful though. I've read that if you've got a few orders rolling through k-customs at the same time, they can tally them and count them all against the $150 total. |

Could be, but I doubt it. Besides, what's waiting a few days between orders?
In any case, the main page says free delivery when the order is over 40$...I guess that means it's 4$ to Korea when the order is under 40$. |

Ordered from bodybuilding.com on the 22nd.
Ordered from iHerb on the 26th.
iHerb's order got here today. BB's order still shows it as in the US. |

Thanks, Hum. Looks like I'll have to order those bigger bags/tubs at intercvls. |

That's only for first time customers though, right? I don't see a place to enter a code anymore. |

http://www.iherb.com/specials
Iherb is having a special of 10% off everything until Monday. Might be a good reason to stock up a bit. |
