It's not very extreme if you've got a trail, steps, and ropes and chains to hold on to.

That looks pretty fun. I would definitely give that a go. I would also say that it is pretty "extreme" as far as hiking goes. To me, hiking is walking up a trail. Just because there are ropes and steps doesn't make it not extreme (to me).
