Touchscreen voting is such a bad idea.

Here in Kentucky it was fill in the blank and then deposit in a scantron, the way a test should be. Cool

Didn't you hear? Everything has to be touch screen and/or 3d now. Everything. Perhaps you could get away with replacing the touch screen with a Wii remote control or something I suppose: flick left for Obama, right for Romney (except in left-leaning districts in Ohio, where the Secretary of State insists it be switched to right for Obama, left for Romney, but don't worry, this is not a politically motivated choice). America is well-practiced at Wii Sports, and if your vote registers the wrong way, then it's not an irregularity, you just suck at voting and need to practice harder for next time.

So far all the voter fraud stories have been from republicans.

http://www.sfgate.com/news/crime/article/Woman-arrested-in-Nevada-for-alleged-voter-fraud-4004575.php

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) FBI agents arrested a woman Friday in Las Vegas on charges that she tried to vote twice in the presidential election, Secretary of State Ross Miller said.

Rubin, 56, lives in Henderson and is a registered Republican, according to the Clark County registrar's office.
Rubin was arrested around 4 p.m. at the Riviera hotel-casino, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. She was charged with one felony count of voting more than once in the same election.

http://www.politicususa.com/pretty-mormon-girl-evidence-gop-voter-fraud-colorado-springs.html

A disturbing video is making the rounds: a pretty, young, fresh-faced Mormon woman outside a Safeway store in Colorado Springs registering voters. It may sound as innocent as she looks, but what lies beneath the surface seems a little uglier, especially given Adalia Woodburys coverage of Romney/GOP voter fraud yesterday.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/25/gop-voter-fraud_n_1990104.html

Republican officials, who have used hysteria about alleged voter fraud as an excuse to support measures that disproportionately block Democratic voters, are furiously trying to distance themselves from a growing number of GOP voter registration drives that either submitted false applications or threw away authentic ones.

As soon as I saw the word "all" I knew it had to be wrong.

Five seconds on Google and here it is.

Most of the stories thus far involve electronic voting machines changing votes for GOP candidate Mitt Romney to Democratic candidate Barack Obama. These instances, and the reverse, are generally chalked up to be calibration issues with the machine.

Colorado

Fox News Insider reported that some in Pueblo, Colo., have seen the machines changing Romney votes to Obama on Tuesday. Watch the report

Quote:
TheBlaze also reported that Republican election monitors were denied entrance to polling locations by their Democrat counterparts. A judge soon reinstated the inspectors right to be there.

A judge has also ordered officials at the polling station at Franklin Elementary School (Philadelphias Ward 35) to cover up a pro-Obama mural on the wall. TheBlazes Billy Hallowell reported:

While some may dismiss the image or downplay its ability to impact voters, it appears to be a violation of Pennsylvania state election law. According to FOX News, the states electoral law states that, no person within a polling place may electioneer or solicit votes for any political party, political body, or candidate, nor may any unauthorized written or printed materials be posted within the polling place.

It has also been reported that Phillys Ward 14 location has Black Panthers standing outside. See the photo sent to TheBlaze here.

Should have added the caveat that I had seen so far. Also the Blaze is a tabloid run by a conspiracy nut, Glenn Beck, so their information, unless supported by other sources, is less than useless. The mural isn't fraud, it's just silly. The inspectors are there mostly to harass minority voters, as has been covered many times, and isn't fraud, as to the black panthers, maybe, but color me skeptical. It isn't enough to google for 5 seconds TUM, you have to actually look at sources and what the links actually say.

If you'd have read it you see he was citing other newspapers and eyewitness accounts. Also your claim that he is a conspiracy nut...any proof of this (links?) or is it just that you dislike the guy?

And it's strange on how you focus on the inspectors but dismiss the Black Panthers...without offering proof for either conclusion that you come to.

Isn't it Oregon that has a total vote by mail system? Something along these lines needs to be developed nationally.

Do you not know who Glen Beck is? Conspiracies are his bread and butter, so yeah, unless I see a credible source to back it up its best to dismiss it.

Both OR and WA have the system. How is it that the west coast is always the trend setter when it comes to political matters? Very Happy

I have absolutely no idea, but someone once upon a time told me that the freaks, dorks, idjits, etc jumped on the nearest wagon headed west as a way of escaping the laws of the country.

Seems more plausible that the idiots got left behind to follow the laws of the country.

Replace 'wagon' for 'ship' and you've described who were coming to the original colonies as well as the immigrants in the decades after.
