I thought the bigger stores were open the 1st and 3rd Sundays and closed the 2nd and 4th Sundays. But what a stupid policy.

Not any more. Just last month I read an article in Korean Times that the court has overturned the decision of local governments. All E-Mart and homeplus won't have closure days.

Good. I can't recall a policy that's annoyed me so much since the E2 visa changes.
