Does anyone know when or if it will ever open? I know people been protesting but damn, I'm tired of going to emart in yongsan or the homeplus@ omokgyo |

Yep, from shinchon the emart at gongdeok is probably the closest, but if you are specifically looking for a homeplus, there is one at the worldcup stadium. Probably a bit closer than the one at omokgyo |

There's a Home Plus above Mullae Station which is just three stops from Hapjeong Station. |

Just FYI, the Emart at gongdeok is a little smaller than most other Emarts, so for non-food items you're better off going to a bigger store. The food and foreign food sections are well stocked though.
Sindorim station is good too, a couple stops past Mullae, but it has an Emart and Homeplus at the same stop. |
