Can't answer you today... but I will be there on Saturday and hopefully can give you an answer then (if it is not too late for you).

If it uses a sim-card and it is unlocked then the answer is 100% YES! |

Depends on what network you want to be on. It will undoubtedly work with the major providers.
Check the network frequencies for the providers .vs. your phones supported frequencies.
eg. 900 / 1900 / 2100 mHz etc.
I have an LG Optimus 2X (Korean version), it does not support 1700 like the North American version does. So it will not work with the 3G of TMobile, or Wind/Mobilicity in Vancouver.
p.s. Anyone know of a Korean version Android that supports 1700/2100?

Can't confirm that but can confirm that most if not all android phones will work on either the Telus or the Bell networks.
$10 for a SIM
choose the plan you want (I just got a $40, 1 month plan: unlimited evenings, weekends, 100mb data and $.20/min for calls not covered in the "unlimited" talk times)
Total bill: $63.
