I live in a fun neighborhood called Haebangchon. It's about a fifteen minute walk to Itaewon... kind of the foreign area... best restaurants in the country by far, everyone speaks English... it's very fun and convenient (though not "real" Korea). My neighborhood is a quieter version of Itaewon -- some good (foreign) restaurants, everyone speaks English, etc.
(For those who don't live here already)

You will have everything you need -- dishes, furniture, etc. I just had my bathroom renovated (no pics, unfortunately, because my camera is broken), so everything is new and shiny. New sink/toilet/shower WITH A TUB (rare in Korea!). Nice living room with two couches, new flat screen TV (and cable), new floor heating system, great Wifi, a big kitchen. Two furnished bedrooms, one big (with a double bed), one smaller with a single bed.
