The architect who designed Brasilia. I remember learning about it in elementary school, and it was described to us as "a city where everything is like the future", or something along those lines.
I'm a pretty big fan of that modernist style, but something about Brasilia always seemed a little over-the-top to me. Like, as per my school lesson, they were TRYING to make it look fututistic, rather than just falling into the style naturally. Certainly has some interesting buildings. I'm curious as to whether anyone here has ever been there.
