I was wondering if anyone has had violin lessons in Korea. If so, where did you take it and was it in English? Thanks

My school (public) offers violin lessons for free to students and staff. Most public schools offer music lessons for free, but only once a week though. Vioin teacher at my school is competant, didn't find out whether she spoke English or not, but I think violin is a universal language and don't really need to talk to learn.

I didnt take lessons personally, but there was a foreigner here in Daegu not long ago offering fiddle/bluegrass style lessons.

Also, I dated a girl down in Suncheon a few years ago who was a violin teacher at her family's music academy that spoke "passable" English

Not sure if either of those locations are options for you.

I actually got some free Cello lessons out of my school's cello teacher in exchange for English lessons.
