I got an amazing offer on a "new" nikon d5100. About 120 cheaper than amazon back home. I know they are being discontinued for a newer model thats coming out but I feel like its still a pretty insane price. Does anyone have any experience buying an SLR from there and it being okay? It seems kind of shady....

you mean the IPark mall connected to the station?

I wouldn't head there again for anything other than the headphones store. I stupidly got talked into a camera they were trying to shift a few years ago. Completely my own fault. Heard a lot of shady things about those guys.

Agreed. Better off doing your research and heading to Namdaemun market between City Hall and Seoul Station. Haggle, and you can get away with value.

no, anything that is ridiculously cheap is probably grey market without warranty. Which is fine if you don't think you need it. Sometimes it can be worth it to save 50% on a lens or something.

but after a few experiences there, I really wouldn't trust them.
