I got an amazing offer on a "new" nikon d5100. About 120 cheaper than amazon back home. I know they are being discontinued for a newer model thats coming out but I feel like its still a pretty insane price. Does anyone have any experience buying an SLR from there and it being okay? It seems kind of shady.... |

you mean the IPark mall connected to the station?
I wouldn't head there again for anything other than the headphones store. I stupidly got talked into a camera they were trying to shift a few years ago. Completely my own fault. Heard a lot of shady things about those guys. |

Agreed. Better off doing your research and heading to Namdaemun market between City Hall and Seoul Station. Haggle, and you can get away with value. |

no, anything that is ridiculously cheap is probably grey market without warranty. Which is fine if you don't think you need it. Sometimes it can be worth it to save 50% on a lens or something.
but after a few experiences there, I really wouldn't trust them. |
