A wild scene as a would-be assassin's gun seemingly misfires (or something) in an attempt on Ahmed Dogan's life (he's a 25-year leader of a Bulgarian opposition party that promotes the interests of the Turk minority as well as other Muslims:

Not sure what really is going on behind this (I'm neither Bulgarian, Turk nor Muslim nor am I at all up to speed on the country's politics), but the video is pretty dramatic.

Wow, that was intense... (and one lucky politician, to say the least).

The "suspect"? Taking presumed innocence a bit to the extreme, don't you think? Is the editor worried they'll get sued?

I'd like to know how he managed to get a gun (apparently a gas gun, not a handgun) through security checks and why he had a security pass. Some people are suggesting this could be a publicity stunt ahead of the elections.

Gotta say - first I've ever heard of a gas gun.

That being said, my buddies and me would have 'gas wars' when we were young - very different looking thing though. Wink

It's like mace.

Do a search for 가스총 on Naver. Dozens of retailers selling them will come up.
