Just want to make sure so I'm asking it here. For E-2 visa requirements for Americans. Does the uni. degree need to be notarized or apostilled by state or federal government? |

No experience, but I am pretty certain it has to be State. Federal is more for national related papers like FBI checks. |

Notarized COPY of the degree (don't get the apostille on the original) with a state level apostille.

Does it have to be a state level apostille or would a federal level be just as good? |

Is obtaining a federal level apostille of a (United States) university degree even possible? |

It's state level, because the univesities are chartered on a state level such as University of Missouri or Michegan. I haven't heard of any unis being federal level even if it's ivy league or private. |
