I love how the far right is freaking out over Jamie Fox and this movie.

They want to transfer blame on Hollywood for America's violent gun culture.

DiCaprio was truly terrifying in it. His rotten teeth, the angry outbursts all of it combined with his southern charm. He was really disturbing.

And an interesting side note the man's dedication:
Quote:
Leonardo DiCaprio cut his hand while the cameras were rolling on the set of "Django Unchained" and kept moving through the scene, never breaking character. His real-life bloodied hand made it into the final version of the film, The Weinstein Company has confirmed with Yahoo! Movies.

But that didn't stop him from doing his job. As his hand bled quite visibly, DiCaprio kept going, even using the hand as a new dramatic prop. At one point he smears his bloodied hand over Broomhilda's face in an act of evil dominance. And Broomhilda (Washington) looks horrified as he does it. (Perhaps Washington wasn't acting!) And that was the take that director Quentin Tarantino kept in the film.

I blame the police for America's gun culture. Without them going around demonstrating how useful a gun is for stopping criminals, far fewer people would be interested in owning one.

Are you kidding?
An oppressed population using firearms to right the wrongs of a twisted and immoral society is -exactly- what gun-freedom proponents are all about.
Hence, What Would Django Do?

I loved it. Laughed the whole way through. Samuel L's character is a classic. Tarantino is getting crap about his portrayal of the black man again, but interestingly enough he makes the whites (with the exception of Christoph Waltz -sure I butchered the spelling) out to be a bunch of inbred morons. Worth the watch for sure.
