I don't know what's wrong with it but it kind of still works. The problem is it takes a long time to come out of standby/sleep mode. I have to keep switching it on/off for about 10 minutes until it flickers into life. When it comes on, it stays on and is fine so I'm guessing some minor component like the flux capacitor, or something, is shot.
I am going to sling it out, but if anyone is handy with a soldering iron and you think you can fix it, it's all yours - provided you come get it. I'll wait until Friday and then I am just going to bin it. |
