Hi there
this is my first time posting so I'm sorry if i explain something badly...
first of all I realize the mistakes I have made and certainly will not be doing them again ^^

Basically I started looking for a job when I did not have my paperwork ready - the mistake I will now never do again. Despite this I had many job offers and decided to go with a recruiter - who shall remain nameless-
who found me a really nice job in Bundang starting March 2nd.
I had plenty of time to gather my paperwork and upon researching saw that a SAR would be ok for a police check (I'm from the UK). So I got this, signed my contracts and sent it all off etc. The Korean immigration office rejected this and my recruiter asked me to get a Disclosure Scotland instead. My recruiter told me the school were worried about the time but I managed to get one in time and sent it off.

I told my recruiter who has now told me the school decided to find another teacher, which is fair enough. although I was very shocked and upset, I realize these things happen.

I am now looking for another job with my recruiter and am still hoping to get to Korea before the start of the March term but to speed things up I want to know, will schools accept signed copies of contracts that are scanned?

I realize this is long winded and I'm sorry but any advice (except telling me I should have done the paperwork first!!) would be much appreciated
Thank you Smile

I'm about to sign a contract for a position beginning of March, my documents are ready. I think it's enough time to fedex things to them and get the visa, the schools seem to think so too.

With your documents in hand it takes between 12-21 days to process the paperwork, get on a plane and get to Korea.

Get job. Agree to contract terms.

Send contract and hard copies of documents to Korea (4-days).
Employer applies for visa confirmation number (4-10 days).
Employer e-mails the number to you (1 days).
You apply for visa at the local consulate (1-4 days).
You get a plane ticket (1 day).
You travel to Korea (1-day).
