I got a deal for everyone here. All those against Israel throw the book at Israel . Get every last thing on them you can bring to light every wrong Israel has ever done . However in the interest of fairness any supporter of Israel likewise is free to do the same against Israel's enemies.
I think this is fair. What do you guys say? Challenge accepted?
Lets see how this turns out. |

Seems you don't have much faith in Israel if you're using the old we are not as bad as third world autocracies, theocracies, or the people we have been occupying for decades routine. |

Pretty sure it's going to turn out with me not wanting my country to be involved with any of the institutionally racist, semi-theocracies that are constantly at each other's throats.
And since that's my position now, I don't really see the point. |

Nothing wrong with the original topic. Such actions deserved to be exposed.
Unfortunately any thread on Israel brings out the conspiracy theorists with their own axe to grind.
This has nothing to do with Jews living in the West! |

The question that I have and is not fully answered in the article is why? The article alluded to 'controlling birthrate' but why would they want that?
What is the elephant in the room that is not being said? |

O.K. lets crank it up and get uglier if that's possible
Before and during WWII Canada had a policy "One is too many" which supported Nazi Germany's policy toward jews. Jews attempting to escape the Nazi's were not allowed to enter Canada. Ecuador took in more jews than Canada as did Bolivia.
So i think the U.S. should cut all ties with Canada. No more trade.
Oh yeah Saudi Arabia, When israel is attacked the U.S. sends aid but when Suadi was threatened by Iraq the U.S. sends troops. |

Well, some of the women probably did want small families on their own accord. As for any coercion that may have taken place...

If we're gonna let them in, better make sure we keep their numbers down."

| It is just as likely that a lot of people thought "oh Israel is an advanced modern culture , good medical care is available so I dont have to worry about half of my children dying before the age of 16, and now that I am not farming I dont need a large family to help with the chores" Just saying. |

Indeed. I'd be surprised if there weren't at least some Ethiopian women who wanted smaller families.
However, there does seem to be some evidence of the Israeli government preferring that Ethiopians use birth-control, rather than simply wanting them to have that option if so desired.

| One often hears people with an agenda trying to construe the offering of birth control and abortion services to impoverished black Americans as a form of eugenics as well. Yet many of the same people on here who are willing to entertain the notion that Israel is engaged in "eugenics" by strongly promoting birth control among poor Ethiopian immigrants would support the same services being offered to poor urban blacks in America without batting an eye-lash, because they can see through the propaganda when it comes to their own country. |

I get the impression that "knowledge and consent" is kind of the key difference here. I doubt many would care if it were a (probably needed) targeted information campaign to make Ethiopian immigrants aware of the benefits of birth control.

The U.S. has all but a defensive pact with Israel, which means that its actions are profoundly more relevant to me than any other country in the region. Saudi Arabia is a dictatorship that treats women like sh**, immigrants like slaves, and executes innocent women for adultery after they've been raped. Israel is an oppressive, racist state that uses coercion to forcibly remove undesirable races while denying basic human rights to people living in territories it effectively occupies.
In addition:

And finally, a few words on our military policy and foreign aid. |
