I've been trying to build up enough points to get the F-2 visa (via the point system), but after talking to a few friends, realized that I need to find out about a few things before going ahead with things.
The first thing I'm wondering about is pension. I have quite a few years of pension built up, and I'd like to be able to take that out at some point. Will having the F-2 visa preclude me from withdrawing my pension?
The second thing I'm wondering is what are the requirements for keeping the F-2 visa once you have it. Mainly, I am wondering if there is a certain amount of time one must spend in Korea a year to keep the visa.
I'd really like to get the F-2 visa and then travel for a while before coming back to Korea, which is why I'm asking the questions above. I would wait until I came back but then would have to wait a year to apply once coming back (I believe). I'd really appreciate any information any of you could share about any of this. Thanks! |
