I work in a small hagwon with full freedom to order what I like, but I'm scratching my head for ideas. Typically we use a lot of stuff from Korean publishers (compass, lingua forum, hackers, bricks, etc), but I find the upper level listening books to be quite boring for the age group I'm teaching (middle school 3rd grade). They've been doing lots of TOEFL and TEPS stuff, but it's difficult to make the material interesting.
Anyhow, any suggestions? I've been browsing Oxford and Pearson's websites, but they don't have a lot of sample materials. Pearson's Choices series looked pretty exciting.
Any other recommendations? |
