|

Hello all,
I'm a recent university graduate from Canada and would like to go to Korea to teach English, and the sooner the better. I've got every document I need to apply for an F4 visa (just waiting to secure a job), and I have every other document I need to apply for a job (RCMP criminal background check, transcripts, resume, passport photos, etc.). The only thing I don't have yet is my diploma. I do have a diploma alternative that my school has provided me with. I've been applying though some recruiters and it seems like I can't get a job until I have my actual diploma. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of getting a teaching job with a diploma alternative? Any information will help. Thanks in advance! |

Without the actual parchment you cannot apply for an E2.
IF you have your F4 in hand then the "alternative" would be acceptable until you get your parchment since you don't need the degree to apply for an F4.
Either way, contacting recruiters at this point is of not much use.
You need either your F4 OR your parchment.
Get one or the other and you are good to go.
