I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of S Koreans will have given this less than 5 minutes thought.

The US is going to have to come to some kind of deal with China to avoid a cataclysmic event with China over North Korea. But North Korea has to be taken out period. The leaders there will develop nuclear weapons. What would make anybody think that they wouldn't?

Yes but that is not the same as the artillery North Korea has on the frontier (aimed at Seoul).

What makes you think North Korea would use nuclear weapons offensively?
The only scenario in which I see them deploying nukes is if they're under perceived existential threat. Even if the leadership doesn't care about their people (and they might), they certainly care about their own hides.

The most interesting thing about the test is how strongly China has reacted, at least compared to its previous stance.

It would be funny if all the test accomplished is the bad will and opposition of it's most important ally.

Look at who is going to control the weapons and look at who is going to try to save thier own hides.

Cool! This is the first time I agree with you! Very Happy

Mind you. A weaker South Korea will always be peace in the region.

You've spammed that quote a few times now - try to be original.

The DPRK was quick to react to Seouls comments, condemning them as warmongering.
