I'm supposed to be starting in my new school on Monday 4th March, however my visa hasn't arrived yet, and having spoken to the embassy, it's likely I wont get the visa until Tuesday, and so won't arrive in Korea until Wednesday.
I've read on these boards that I will need to sign a new contract to ensure I get my severance bonus - can anyone advise how/when I go about doing this? As I'm already arriving late, I don't want to tread on any toes or cause any offence, but I also don't want to lose out on my severance bonus over a few days. |

When you get there, and when the school is satified that you're a living, breathing creature, THEY will sign the contract. That's WHEN the contract commences. What you have for now is an offer. When they sign you, they'll sign you for 12 months. So, you don't have to worry about the severance. |
