It's looking more and more like I may actually finish my first contract here in Korea! Uncharted waters for me. Here are the facts:
Contract termination date: May 31st
Visa expiration date: June 30th
ARC card expiration date: June 30th
Family reunion in Hawaii: June 12th-19th
The way I see it, the 30th of June is my deadline to do anything. Say, if I walk away from my current contract at the end of May, I shouldn't have any issues with my Visa were I to then travel outside of the country (Hawaii!), return the 19th of June, then secure myself a new contract and Visa extension all before the 30th of June.
I don't even want to think about the D10. It hurts my brain.
How's my logic? |

Your logic is fine.
Though 11 days to secure a new contract (provided you haven't done any legwork beforehand) may be cutting it a bit fine. You might find yourself getting the D10 anyways, or working in a less than ideal job. |

Yeah, I'm already hitting the job search hard. I hope to have a contract signed late May/early June. I can take care of Immigration when I get back.
Thanks for the confirmation. Cheers. |
