| Hey, I'm checking out flights to Canada and the cheapest flight I found is with a Chinese airline that has an hour and half stop-over in China. Do I need a Chinese visa for the lay-over? |

Not if you are staying in the airport (don't actually "enter" China) or if the airport is Beijing or Shanghai (allowed up to 72 hours).

| Even if not Beijing or Shangers....(not likely though) for an hour and a half in the airport it'll be cool. Why not take Ttom's suggestion though and use the 72 hour stopover....take a couple of days off in BJ or SH or wherever you're passing through. Both are great places to get off and stretch your legs for a couple of days after a stint in Korea. |
