I only watched the first couple of minutes, but it seemed like his heart was in the right place and if the things he said were true - wth!

If I was giving a 'presentation' at the EPIK thinngy and I saw ppl on their phones, they would be up on the stage 'helping me' within 3 seconds!

I agree 100% with with what he says at the beginning, until he starts going off and becomes offensive. However, it seems his expectations are too high. I would imagine the number of foreigners that come here for "vacation" is much higher than he thinks.

It's 50/50.

For sure the behavior of people at GEPIK and EPIK orientations/trainings could be crappy buttttttt....

The events were typically really useless if you'd been a teacher for more than a year. A lot of the teachers for GEPIK aren't *new*. Honestly I'd have been one of the teachers "escaping" to go have a drink at a bar.

But, yeah, his heart is in the right place and he should keep that attitude.

If he's already offended at various things already, he's in for a long year. He hasn't even gotten shafted on his pay yet.

What a self-righteous tool. He had some fair points, but his sanctimonious drivel put paid to any possible positive outcomes.

"If any foreigners see this video and they know how I feel about them, then they'll change their mind."

Not likely, mate.

The most offensive thing by far about that video was that wallpaper with that bed cover. Completely unacceptable.

He found what he was expecting to find...big surprise.

The video plays more like a gay personal ad.
C'mon people don't be so closed minded...or he won't be friends with you.
Complete idiot newbie take on life and teachers in Korea.

I can understand some of his complaints, that stuff is annoying. He needs a serious ego check though, and he shouldn't act like he is better than people that are at the same pay grade as him.

If you read the comments the seminar was also an orientation that took place after the teachers had already been at their school for a month and a half. That might explain some of the negativity.
