Does anyone have any instructions about filing your Korean taxes (called "Home Taxes") here? This is the first time l have done it and all l have received from my co-workers are some vague and unhelpful instructions along with a few links which amount to nothing more than a euphemistic expression of "please do it yourself and don't bother us".
I have the 인증서 from my bank but every time l try to use the app it simply says the information l have inputted is not correct. I was also told that l have to hand something in. If anyone can shed any light on this l would appreciate it. Thanks |

There are two categories for using Home Tax.
If you are an individual, any type of 인증서 should work to log in.
You just need to register it under 공인인증서 등록 using your 주민등록번호 before login.
But for business owners, you need either 범용(which costs 110,000 KRW for 1 year) or 전자세금계산서용(which costs 4,400 KRW for 1 year) 인증서.
One of my friends used to visit 세무서 and receive free filing for tax refunds.
I hope it was helpful! |
