Just checked out Air Asia's site and it seems the carrier will start direct flights from Incheon to Manila from July. If you reserve for September now, the roundtrip ticket can be as cheap as 170,000 won including taxes and fees.
Direct flights to Cebu and Kalibo are to follow. |

Interesting. It would be great if they connected that with the Manila-Bangkok flight. Right now to get to Bangkok on Air Asia you have to fly to KL and make a U-turn back to Bangkok. But they probably wont offer connection services at Manila, since KL is their real hub. |

It's good news that AirAsia Philippines wants to usurp the title of biggest airline from Cebu Pacific, which means the former will offer crazy prices.
I've gotten a Cebu Pac ticket for as cheap as 75,000 won before, so let's see what AirAsia has in store.
And for those who want to go to Bali, you can get a roundtrip ticket on AirAsia from Incheon for as low as 417,000 won if you book early. You'd have to go first to KL, though. |

Hmmm...is this in addition to Zest Air flights. You do know that AirAsia has bought out Zest Air? |

Darn, I didn't know that but I know that Zest has a poor track record in on-time flights and the like. It used to be called Asian Spirit then renamed itself Zest.
Thanks for the info! |
