Hello,
I have a Korean plug adapter to charge my phone. What kind of adapter do I need to charge my device while in Japan and where can I get one? I am having trouble finding a clear answer to this in a Google search. Thanks! |

Japan uses the same 2-prong plug style as the USA (NOT the 3-prong plug!). Been to Japan 3 times, 3 different provinces and it's been that style plug at every place I've stayed. |

Thanks pjstarbuck. So if I can get my hands on a smart phone plug from the US, I should be able to use that just fine? I have been in Korea for awhile and do not have anything that will fit a US outlet anymore. |

Just get one of those universal adaptors here in Korea. It will fit your Korean phone charger, and should come with 3 types of plugs that work around the world - one of which will be the USA/Japan 2-prong type. Look at emart/home plus or daiso. |
