Just found out from the recruiter that I need one for EPIK. Is this the request form I should submit to the IRS (I'm a US resident):
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8802.pdf
Or am I off base here...

Yes and you will get a Form 6166 - Certification of U.S. Tax Residency in return to give to EPIK.

Thanks. And just to clarify (the sticky tax post doesn't seem to have a clear cut consensus) I should:
1. File for my 6066 Tax Residency Certification
2. Once I'm in Korea, I can then submit my 2555 for Tax Exception?
In which case, I wouldn't have to pay taxes for either side (for two years) and then just pay my regular Korea taxes? |

You would be tax exempt if you are working at a public school in Korean (no tax holiday if you work at a hagwon).
You are then taxable in the US BUT you would also qualify for the foreign earned income tax exemption (about the first US90K per year is tax free).
