Just wondering if you can still use K banking apps if you root your phone? Anyone? |

They won't. I had to root my phone to recover some deleted photos, then flash the stock ROM again to fully remove the root. |

My galaxy S3 is rooted using Mobile Odin's Ever root and I can run all banking Apps (by going in to SSuper user menu and temporary un rooting my phone)
But to use the KB bank app you need to convert Super user to a system App. |

I've rooted my phone long time ago.
Would the app really complain if the stock ROM is rooted?
How about if you run a custom ROM - I use CyanogenMod anyway...
Lastly, are those bank phone apps useful? What would you use them for anyway? |

Rooting is going to have no effect whatsoever on the use of these apps.
Having said that I don't find rooting worth it... its so tricky these days Id actually rather just pay for the apps. |

Actually they do, I know the KIB app won't work on rooted phones. Even when root is 'turned off'. And some of the updates won't work on rooted phones. But I do agree, it is a hassle rooting your phone. Do it at your own risk. |
