I just booked a trip to Kyoto for a few days in October. I'll be there for 3 full days as well as the day that I get there and the day I leave. I've been to Japan a few times, but this is my first time going to Kyoto. Any ideas on the must sees, do's and eats?

Thanks in advance!

Depends what you want to see.
I think Arashiyama is good and nearby is a bamboo forest.

You could go out to Kibune and eat tsukiyaki on tatami over a river.

It depends. If you want zen, I can recommend.

Sake ramen? Go to Fushimi. Sake is brewed in that part.

Gion, of course. Pontoncho is where geisha are.
That costs $3000 for two hours.

There is a theater where you can see traditional performing arts.
It doesn`t cost so much.

Drinking by the river is a good idea.

Buy yatsuhashi.

For temples I guess it is Kyomizudera. You can eat green tea ice cream nearby.
