|
|
My bank account is with KB, but I work in the boonies so it's mostly Nonghyub territory. There's one near my school and I need to transfer some cash home. Do you think they will be able to do it? I don't have an account with them. But by the time I get back into town my own bank is closed.
Anyone had any experience using Nonghyub for transferring money?
Thanks in advance.

Not all branches have a forex desk.
If they do then yes, you can.
If they do not then no, you cannot.

I just send a bunch of funds yesterday.
Yes. I love sending money to my bank account (USA) via Nonghyup.
They are quick, efficient, and reliable. I've used them for Western Union to send money to people and also for depositing money into my home account. You do not have an account with them to use their services.
Western Union takes 5-10 minutes. For bank transfers
They always tell me it will be (1-3 days for bank transfers)before the deposit is posted, but its usually only 2-3 hours!
If I were you, I'd strongly consider opening an account with them, too. Why not? I have accounts with several banks here. Makes my life so much easier. Previously, I've used IBK, KB, and KEB, but it always took about an hour or so for them to fill in the form, a lot of frustration, several times lost funds, wrong amounts entered, one time they even send my money to The Philippines!!! NH has always been quick, careful, and exact.
By the way,
Right now, there is a 45% savings coupons on sending money home by NH. |
