Every review I've read, the reviewer couldn't understand why it was made as it sucked. I haven't seen it so who can tell if they're full of it or not, but having seen the original, I think knowing the outcome will take away the 'oh crap factor' that was the surprise at the end.

To me, the Korean version can never be outdone. Adding better gory "hits" and versions of killing are interesting, but the rawness of a Korean original like this movie is hard to beat. There is something 'very Korean' present and clear throughout the 'revenge' theme.
