Anyone watching it?

I'm disappointed in the recent episode but, overall, an interesting series.

Really good and the spoilers for the next 2 episodes look interesting. Of course, they'll end the season with a damn cliffhanger. Would like to see them use the Old English a bit more, pretty cool to figure out what they're saying. Along with Rome, Tudors, Borgias, Davinci's Demons, etc. it's good to see a Viking period piece that tries to capture the times. Now if they'll only make one about the Crusades, that would be another worth watching.

Great show!

Back then it was all about conquest and kill or be killed.

Interesting views on religion/spirituality as well. In today's Christian dominated world, it's easy to forget about the earlier gods that people used to worship, and the varied perspectives and behaviors that entailed.

In the show, the vikings openly mock Christianity but are fairly intrigued by it as well, asking their priest slave all kinds of questions about it. It should be questioned, but we forget to do it sometimes because the belief system is so entrenched now.

Blood-splattered gangwars and mushroom trippin' orgies at Uppsala. Good show. The soundtrack is on constant rotation here - check out Wardruna on Youtube.
