Bacall was married to Bogart from 1945 until his death in 1957. They had two children.

I don't think I saw her in anything except Dogville, likely not a representative work. I'm sure she will be missed.

| "To Have and Have Not" The term sexual chemistry was created for her banter with Bogart in this classic. The dialogue is fantastic. The movie's plot is fluff but it is how she worked so well off of Bogies intensity. William Faulkner wrote the script. No woman actress has ever had a sexier voice. Husky, breathy. She also had a smoking bod. She was one of the greats. She will be missed. |
