Does anyone know if Lucy, the new Luc Besson film, has English subtitles for the foreign language parts?

I know many movies do but some of the big ones don't, eg. the last Die Hard and Planet of the Apes, and The Wolverine.

Probably not, since the other language spoken mostly in the movie is Korean.
Old Boy actor Choi Min Shik is in this.
Koreans are probably going to complain about their portrayal in this movie

Ugh, I just did a google search. It's that Scarlette Johannson movie. You couldn't pay me to sit through one of her movies. She can't act, and is wildly over-rated in the looks department.

Just my two cents. The Koreans in the movie are portrayed as crude, drug smuggling, woman beating Neanderthal ajosshis. Kind of like real life minus the drug smuggling

My thoughts were kind of the opposite of that actually. I thought they'd be happy because some of their country men are in a movie with Black Widow, big time movie star.

You're asking the wrong question.

The right question is, "Is this movie good?"

No. It's awful.

Same here. This should be nominated for some type of funny bone Nobel Prize. Laughing

The Korean speaking sections are few and brief.

I kinda like it. Very conceptual. No dull moments. With that signature French touch. Go see it.

Luc Besson is in it for the money grab nowadays. He definitely calculated the countries to be included.

I saw it yesterday and enjoyed it. The time flew by while I was in the cinema, and no, I didn't fall asleep. From start to finish it kept my interest. If you like action movies, I'd definitely recommend you go see it.

Oh, and to answer thr Q about subs. They had Eng subs pretty much throughout the movie. I seem to remember the odd bit missing, but nothing that significantly affected the viewing experience.
