I need to take care of some business in the Philippines, I'm interested in applying to graduate schools in Manila, so I really want to do my visa run there so that I can knock out two birds with one stone. A lot cheaper than Japan too.

Is it possible? Has anyone else done a Korean E2 visa run to Philippines?

Anywhere that isn't Korea and has a Korean embassy will do the trick in theory.

It takes 4 business days and the line at the embassy is LOOOONG so be there early.

You will need to leave a copy of a piece of ID with the security guard downstairs and will NOT be allowed to take a backpack or bag upstairs (so leave it in your hotel room). Bring your documents in a large envelope and save the hassle with the guard.
