Well there are some things I'd like to do but can't

One of them is do a Muay thai camp for at least a month in Thailand. But I damaged my menisci doing mountian sprints, so I really don't think my knees would be up to it. I'd also like to go to Rio for carnival, but I feel if I liked the city, I'd be gutted that I couldn't stay there for a year as it would possibly ruin my career plans.

But here is my list, in no order of preferance and ommiting my career aims as I don't want to share those here. These are kinda off the top of my head and I'm sure my list would change over time, but these would be cool.

1. Smoke opium

2. Get certified and go deep sea diving. Have done 20 metres, but not the same.

3. Go jungle trecking in Borneo.

4. Live in Havanna for 6 months.

5. Do a Greyhound bus tour of the Southern states of the USA, stopping for a couple of nights in each major city and staying longer if I met people I wanted to hang with.

*Further my education - Masters in Education would be ideal...

*Live in Japan / Korea / China

*Teach at a prestigious University (overseas)

*Certified for deep sea diving

*Massive road-trip though America

Nice topic BTW. I'll be 31 in 5 years.

In 5 years I will be 30.

- Expand my modeling career.
- Put away at least $100,000 in savings
- Get my Korean to high conversation lvl.
- Get Dive certified.
- Jungle Trek and spend a month or 2 traveling one country. (Repeat this 4-5 times during this period)

All of these are pretty easy goals for the next 5 years it seems. After one and a half years here, I've got $20,000. I can just hop down to the Philippines to get a cert, and if I land this UNI job I'll have a huge vacation to blow...although my girlfriend might try to guilt trip me out of it.

Fun!

1. Eat a pie.
2. Write and edit a novel.
3. Get in shape and stay that way (not round shape)
4. Buy a house.
5. Make 2 real friends.

My husband is well aware of my pie goal (it's been on my mind a lot the last couple months) and thought I should up it and go for something like this:

I think it's a bit ambitious. What do you think?

1. Rent my own place independent of a hagwon (probably will be in Busan or the province around it);
2. Get some quality speakers for my jeep and big quality speakers and music system for my place (love music, don't watch t.v.);
3. Start taking 3 to 6 month breaks between contracts (having my own place will make it easier/more stable to do);
4. Travel Hungary, Australia and Eastern Canada.
5. Have a kid (hard to do when a woman's not presently in the picture, but at age 41 the impulse is there to be a father, though as a man the biological clock isn't ticking so loud. Still...). An alternative/stopgap is to get some pets, a cat for sure, maybe a dog too.

1 - In theory I can put my family back together in this time. My dad's just disowned me because I expressed my feelings. A taboo in a family environment, apparently. Life long separation between the two halves of the family, so it should take some time.

I'm not really close enough personally to be that bothered about it, but it would be a nice achievement on my own behalf, proving to myself how much I've developed as a person.

2 - Great Korean ability

3 - Have enough money to start considering the next phase of my career.

4 - Have a repertoire of music significant enough to be a recognized composer for freelancing, orchestrating, arranging, performing, producing or whatever else I'm awesome at.

5 - Get my friend's T-shirt to at least 10 more countries, since he can't get to them himself. So far I've got it to 5.
