 There are Americans working in Europe. I have worked in Europe. I have no intentions of returning to Europe for work. I do continue to vacation in Europe.
 
 The UK has had a plague of problems being in the EU.

				| I think it's difficult for Americans to work in Europe teaching as schools and companies can use UK teachers already on the doorstep who don't need a visa to work in europe. A lot of ads I've seen have said they don't sponsor visas. Maybe some Americans marry european citizens then or some get visas somehow. 
 It's reciprocal anyway because UK teachers can't just go and work in the USA.
